Mark's dad called this morning. Mark is in ICU and not in very good shape. He most definitely needs our prayers. He needs the Lord's healing.
Mark's uncle has since told us that Mark is in surgery. I don't know any other details other that Mark needs healing. |

Here is an update from Mark's uncle:
Joy (Mark's sister) called and Mark is out of sugery. They were told that his intestines were not getting enough blood flow and they didn't know why. They were giving him antibotics to treat the infection and he was being moved back to ICU. That's about all I know for now. |

Mark's dad Jimmy spoke with my wife about an hour ago. He said that Mark was still not doing very well and asked for people to continue praying.

Mark passed away about 9:30 this evening. Please pray for his family. This will be very hard on them.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Mark was a great friend and always fun to talk to about Bible Quiz history. I don't know how many teams he coached over the years, but it was a lot. He was such a nice guy and I'll truly miss him.
