The purpose of the Assemblies of God Teen Bible Quiz ministry is to:
·        Encourage by systematic memorization and study an in-depth understanding of God’s Word among young people which leads to daily application of the Word.
·        Cultivate through competition a proper attitude toward winning and losing.
·        Provide an opportunity for discipling youth so that they will reflect the Spirit of Christ in attitude, word, and action.
·        Provide through travel and competition opportunities to expand Christian fellowship.

Members of a team consist of:
·        A head coach
·        A maximum of two (2) assistant coaches
·        Two to six (2-6) youth eligible to quiz.

Eligible youth must be both:
·        Enrolled in grades 7-12.
·        11 to 18 years old as of the beginning of the official quiz year, September 1.

A/G official competition begins with the first match in which a team is eliminated from further competition for the quiz season based on the following four levels of official competition in ascending order:
·        League Finals
·        District Finals
·        Regional Finals
·        National Finals
